World Cup 2026: Tunisia vs Netherlands Tips, Odds & Prediction

World Cup 2026 Tunisia vs Netherlands
Tunisia vs Netherlands Best Odds
* Odds from Betway, correct at time of writing.
Tunisia face the Netherlands at Arrowhead Stadium in Kansas City on Friday morning, with kickoff at 01:00 CAT. The Dutch sit top of Group F and are all but through, with only their final position in any doubt, while Tunisia have already been eliminated after heavy defeats to Sweden and Japan. With so little left for Tunisia and some likely rotations from the Dutch, the motivation balance is an unusual one here. For all our World Cup betting tips, head to our dedicated section.
Tunisia vs Netherlands Analysis
Tunisia
Tunisia arrive with nothing left to play for after losing heavily to both Sweden and Japan, results that exposed real defensive problems. In my opinion Sami Trabelsi will want a performance to restore some pride, and the experience of the likes of Ellyes Skhiri in midfield gives them a base to build from. The forward line has badly misfired, with just one goal across two games, and that has to be the priority. My read on this is that they will compete early but struggle to deal with Dutch quality over the full ninety minutes.
Predicted Lineup: Dahmen; Valery, Meriah, Talbi, Bronn, Abdi; Mejbri, Skhiri, Slimane; Saad, Tounekti
Netherlands
The Netherlands have looked dangerous going forward this World Cup, drawing with Japan before sweeping Sweden aside to take command of the group. With qualification secure, Ronald Koeman is likely to rotate and protect key players, though the depth at his disposal means the drop in quality is minimal. Memphis Depay, Cody Gakpo and Tijjani Reijnders provide the cutting edge that Tunisia have struggled to contain. From my point of view even a Dutch side with a couple of stars playing less minutes should have far too much for an eliminated opponent.
Predicted Lineup: Verbruggen; Dumphries, van Hecke, van Dijk, van de Ven; Reijnders, de Jong, Gravenberch; Malen, Gakpo, Depay.
Tunisia vs Netherlands Prediction
Tunisia have conceded freely already and the Netherlands carry more than enough firepower to add to that tally. I expect the Dutch to control possession, score early through Depay or Gakpo, and pull clear after the break against a beaten side. My forecast: Tunisia 0 Netherlands 3.
Tunisia vs Netherlands Best Bet
BTTS: No (1.49)
I am backing Both Teams To Score: No, and my read on this is that Tunisia have scored just once all tournament and are unlikely to break down a Dutch defence marshalled by Virgil van Dijk. The Netherlands have the control to manage the game and keep things tidy at the back. At 1.49 a clean sheet for the Dutch is the standout value.
