World Cup 2026 Brazil vs Morocco

Brazil vs Morocco Best Odds

Brazil and Morocco meet at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford in the early hours of Sunday 14 June, with kickoff at 00:00 CAT. Carlo Ancelotti leads A seleção captained by Marquinhos and powered by Vinicius Jr, while Mohamed Ouahbi's Morocco return to the World Cup with Achraf Hakimi and Brahim Diaz at the heart of a settled side. Brazil are favourites but Morocco are no easybeats. For all our World Cup betting tips, head to our dedicated section.

Brazil vs Morocco Analysis

Brazil

In my opinion, Brazil under Carlo Ancelotti finally look like a coherent unit again, with Vinicius Jr and Raphinha flanking a young Endrick in a 4-2-3-1. Casemiro and Bruno Guimaraes provide the midfield base, and Alisson behind a back four of Wesley, Gabriel, Marquinhos, and Alex Sandro gives the side a settled spine. Neymar made the final 26 despite recent fitness questions and is expected to be a key option from the bench. There are no significant injury absences. I think Vinicius Jr will be the difference-maker against a Morocco defence that can be turned wide.

Predicted Lineup: Alisson; Wesley, Gabriel, Marquinhos, Alex Sandro; Guimaraes, Casemiro; Raphinha, Endrick, Vinicius Jr; Cunha.

Morocco

Morocco arrive at their second consecutive World Cup with Achraf Hakimi captaining a side that reached the semi-finals in 2022. Mohamed Ouahbis’ 4-3-3 is built on a high press, with Hakimi pushing forward from right-back and Brahim Diaz, AFCON 2025 top scorer with five goals, as the creative engine. El Kaabi leads up front, with Abde and Diaz providing a threat along the edge. Youssef En-Nesyri was a notable squad omission, which leaves more responsibility on El Kaabi. Morocco will be organised and competitive, but will have their hands full with Brazil over 90 minutes.

Predicted Lineup: Bounou; Hakimi, Diop, Aguerd, Mazraoui; El Aynaoui, Saibari, El Khannouss; Diaz, El Kaabi, Abde.

Brazil vs Morocco Prediction

Brazil have the better squad, a settled manager in Ancelotti and, in Vinicius Jr and Raphinha, the firepower to hurt any defence. Morocco will be organised and dangerous on the break but I expect Brazil to win this with a comfortable margin. My forecast: Brazil 2 Morocco 0.

Brazil vs Morocco Best Bet

BTTS: No at 1.76

I am backing Both Teams to Score: No based largely on Morocco's attacking selection. With En-Nesyri left out, El Kaabi carries the entire goal-scoring burden against a Brazilian back four anchored by Marquinhos and Gabriel. Brahim Diaz is a capable creator but the cutting edge is missing, and I expect Brazil to keep a clean sheet in line with the 2-0 forecast. At 1.76 from Betway, BTTS: No looks like a strong bet.
