World Cup 2026: Brazil vs Haiti Tips, Odds & Prediction

Brazil take on Haiti at Lincoln Financial Field in Philadelphia on Saturday, with kickoff at 02:30 CAT. The five-time world champions were held to a frustrating draw by Morocco in their opener and will be desperate to get their campaign moving against the lowest ranked side in Group C. Brazil

Brazil were below their best against Morocco and in my opinion Carlo Ancelotti will demand a far more clinical display from his forwards here. Vinicius Junior has the pace and trickery to pull a deep Haiti defence apart, while Raphinha offers a goal threat from the right. There are no significant injury concerns and Ancelotti has the squad depth to freshen things up if needed. I expect Brazil to dominate possession and territory, and the only real question is how many they score.

Haiti

Haiti competed gamely against Scotland but my read on this is that they simply do not carry the quality to trouble a side of Brazil's calibre over ninety minutes. Sebastien Migne's team will set up to defend deep and in numbers, looking to frustrate and hit on the counter where they can. Goalkeeper Johny Placide is set for a busy night and his shot stopping will need to be at its best to prevent a big score for Brazil. Frantzdy Pierrot offers their main outlet up top, but clear chances are likely to be rare against a Brazil side keen to bounce back.

Predicted Lineup: Placide; Arcus, Ade, Delcroix, Experience; Deedson, Bellegarde, Jean Jacques, Providence; Pierrot, Isidor.

The gulf in class here is enormous and I fully expect Brazil to find their rhythm against a Haiti side that failed to score against Scotland. Ancelotti's attackers should have far too much movement and quality for a defence that will spend most of the night camped in its own half. My forecast: Brazil 3 Haiti 0.

I am backing BTTS: No and my read on this is that Haiti, who couldn’t find the net against a much inferior Scottish team, will find it almost impossible to breach a Brazil defence marshalled by Marquinhos and Gabriel Magalhaes. Brazil will commit bodies forward but their back line has the pace to deal with anything Haiti muster on the break. At 1.56 this is the safest source of value on the board.
